Both accomplished solo artists in their own right Matt & Marcus decided to join forces in 2013 due to their shared love of acoustic music.
Matt has been performing in various bands, duos and as a solo artist around Country Victoria, Melbourne and the surf coast for the past 10 years and is better known as the front man for the successful local cover band Test Pilot Molly. For the last 5 years Matt has played on average 300 gigs per year and brings a wealth of experience to any performance.
Marcus started out performing in cover bands around Victoria back in the '90's. Performing with 9 piece soul group 'Wye's Guys' and 4 piece rock outfit 'Dr. Strange'. He then spent several years performing with an original folk-rock group called Sons of Korah travelling interstate and appearing at several music festivals. Marcus also supported grammy nominee Paul Colman in 2000 for a few shows. Recently Marcus has been redefining his song writing style and also returned to performing acoustic covers as a duo and solo at various venues around Ballarat, Geelong and Melbourne including Wesley Anne, Society Bar, The Edge Bar, Tannin Lounge, Beav's Bar plus multiple functions and even quite a bit of busking which I've found strangely rewarding.
